The lights were in place
As the last light was put into place, guests began to fill the room.
The venue came alive with family and friends and everyone could sense the love because the atmosphere was so inviting. Every table had something a little different on it; large glass trumpet vases with large teal and turquoise roses filled most of the room. Other tables were lined with sparkling vases and floating candles.
As soft music transitioned the mood.... the ceremony began. Candles were lit for family members who had passed away. This very loving candle lighting ceremony was especially touching because each family member was invited to participate and the ritual of lighted candles richly enhanced the room.
The bride was stunning
The bridal walk began with the children and grandchildren of Angelina and Darrell walking down the aisle; the expressions on their faces glowed with an abundance of love ....and all the pride that they felt and shared for their parents.
It was much more than a wedding for them. It was a celebration of 30 years of hard work and love.
The bride was absolutely stunning .....as her grandson held her hand and they walked step-by-step down the aisle.
The affirmation ceremony was conducted by a family member and one of the most beautiful moments of the ceremony was the vows.
Yes ....they said vows 30 years ago, but this time Darrell added a special touch as he sang a love song to his bride of 30 years.
The love was affirmed
They kissed like it was the first time and made another vow to continue to love and care for each other.
As the night went on, pictures were taken with family and friends who had not seen each other in a in a while. Dinner was served and the family danced.
The groom sang a love song
The night ended with the children creating a giant circle around their mother as they song "Mama" played by Boy II Men. She moved about her family circle as the Queen she was; one-by-one each family member entered the middle of the circle and embraced her with love.
